The Advanced Design Editor is where you can make deeper visual tweaks to your Journal slides when you need to make an edit to one specific post design - for example to reposition a photograph or image or to align some text slightly differently.

How to Access It

  1. Go to Settings → Design Lab

  2. Select your current theme or template

  3. Click “Open Advanced Editor”

This opens a more detailed editor where you can see a list of all the slides that Journal uses (e.g. testimonials, tips, quotes, promos).

Customising Your Slides

In the Advanced Design Editor, click into each slide to adjust it. For example:

  • Move text boxes or logo placement so things line up better

  • Change the background colour for specific slide types

  • Reposition an image

The Advanced Design Editor isn't something we expect you to use very often but it's available to make Journal work for you when a template isn't quite right. Dive in, experiment, and give your content that polished, professional edge.
